David Watson

A son of a naturalist and a lifelong lover of nature himself, photographer David Watson moved to Terrace in September 2001 from the prairies. He immediately fell in love with the spectacular beauty of the area and its inhabitants, causing his long-term passion for photography to flourish. A member of the Prints Rupert Camera Club, and the winner of awards in the region as well as in the lower mainland, he founded the Northern Lenses Camera Club in Terrace in January 2005. Many of his fine art photographs have been displayed at various locations in Terrace, also in Prince Rupert, Kitimat, Smithers and Abbotsford. David sincerely hopes they attract visitors to the area and inspire both them and locals to have a closer look at the world around us and participate in conserving it!
