6x6 Silent Auction: October 25th-28th

In celebration of our 40th anniversary, the Smithers Art Gallery is putting on a 6x6 Silent Auction fundraiser! Up for auction will be an amazing variety of 6”x6” artwork created by Bulkley Valley community members, from well-known local artists to a variety of hidden talents waiting to be discovered.

All pieces will be signed on the BACK only - the auction will be anonymous with the artists only revealed to the winning bidders after the hammer falls!

Bidding on the 6"x6" artwork will begin from the exhibition opening on Tuesday October 25, with final bidding on Friday October 28 from 6pm-11pm with a wine and cheese reception, door prizes, and more!. All proceeds from the auction will go towards funding the Gallery's operations and educational programming.

Over 300 blank panels were sold, so this is going to be a great event!

If you have not yet submitted your panel the deadline is 4pm on Saturday, October 15, 2011.
